Governor issues state of emergency

#1 Postby jes » Mon Sep 13, 2004 10:39 pm

Our Alabama governor has issued a state of emergency, but there have been no mandatory evacuations ordered. I don't even think they have issued voluntary evacuations in Mobile. Our schools aren't even completely closing tomarrow. They will close 3 hours early. I don't understand this.

I've heard evacuations will be ordered tomorrow morning. Another thing... tomorrow's really early to close school anyway. It's not going to hit til Thursday.
