The ridge is building and the NHC knows it, IMO.

Dammit Boy...

How could all of the models trend to the west all day and the NHC continue to be on the "exteme" east side of the guidance...they know more than I do so I will continue to look to them...but DAMN

I'm not shocked. I have ZERO evidence this is going east of say Destin.

Looking very bad for MS/AL :(

What do you see that makes you think it's going to go more east?

Steve Lyons on TWC just said that Ivan could track NNW for a while and then track west before landfall. This is amazing! Now I'm worried again about New Orleans.

(No offense intended to states west of Florida, mind you.)

Goin' Mobile lyrics
I'm goin' home
And when I wanna go home
I'm goin' mobile
... I'm an air-conditioned gypsy
...Mobile, mobile, mobile yeah

He said it's going to track more to the east before landfall.

No harm intended here (note to moderators) but what the hell ... you sound like you are upset about that...You live in Tampa and you are upset because it shifted west? If I could give it to you I would...are you feeling ok...have you been smoking what Ricky Williams smokes...did you take the short bus to school...

Come on dude...be happy that the track shifted west...especially since there has been ZERO synoptic reason for it too at this time...I will pray for you that it does tomorrow though...

The high pressure over Florida IS building to the West---I've been thinking this all evening after viewing satellite closely, but, didn't want to go out on a limb until I heard something official like this....

What Kind Of IDIOTIC statement is that!!!!!!!!!! I just want to make sure no one on the W coast of FL is caught off guard. We have had more then enough of our share of FEAR!

you are kidding I guess...it sounded to me (anyone else) like you were a bit offended that the shift was made west...

If not...my sincerest apologies...and pray that my family fares well if the track verifies
