Javier a Cat 4!!

I realize none of us out east care about the Pacific right now, but Javier has strengthened rapidly into a Cat 4 hurricane today.

Someone somewhere needs to STOP doing the rain dance. Quite a nice picture seeing those two together on one loop. Good question LAwxrgal. Another I'd like answered, is if Ivan has had any effect on Javier's rapid intensification?

It looks like they're staring each other down. Ivan is so much bigger too.

All these extreme storms area probably being caused buy the guy with the 747 and his load of sponges - opposite effect than what was intended?? :lol:
