Question about GFDL model

Just curious about this model. How has it done?

It's been too far right since it is based on the GFS. It is now west of the GFS more or less. It has also been trending up on intensity in the Gulf. A few days ago it had an 80-90 kt storm making landfall, notice the one above shows about 110 kt.

pretty good..it has shown landfall everywhere from new orleans to maine and if it has missed a point it will flip flop...the model has been miserable

The models sucks after 60hrs but gets better during time and is some times good to use to forecast a landfall in the short range up to around 60hrs! Long range it equals garbage like the GFS.

So now that Ivan is getting closer it should start to handle it much better.
