The remnants of these storms always seem to miss me...

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

The remnants of these storms always seem to miss me...

#1 Postby jj_frap » Mon Sep 13, 2004 2:18 pm

I live in Cornwall, a town near Ottawa and Montreal, and while we only got 2 inches of rain from the remnants of Frances, Kingston, 1.5 hours SW of us, got 7 inches.

The storm then tracked further north than expected and clobbered Ottawa and Montreal with about 5 inches worth.

I was quite shocked: I was convinced that if this storm was going to miss us, it was going to miss us to the south.

Some trees were damaged and there was minor flooding in some places, but that's it.
