THE NHC MODEL GUIDANCE HAS SHIFTED
SLIGHTLY WESTWARD...AND SO HAS THE OFFICIAL FORECAST TRACK.
It looks to me like it was an eastward shift. It had previously been more towards Moble.

I'm getting the better feeling that the system will likely hit east of New Orleans, but, we may feel the effects of the system. Of course this could change--we'll have to see if the ridge over Florida moves back West some and Ivan resumes a W/NW path. We're going to have to watch this one very closely..

What I meant was...
Was Stewart mistaken in saying the NHC track (at landfallPhad shifted west on the 11:00, when it actually was shifted 50-60 miles to the east, or was I mistaken?
