Ivan and Cuban Landfall

It appears to my amateur untrained eye, that Ivan's eye will travel over some portion of the far western tip of Cuba. NHC may have actually missed a predicted coordinate to the west of Ivan. If this scenario holds and current 325 heading (dont flame me for the 325 call, its what I see) I think Tampa is back in the mix. I dont see anyone call for a western turn, when and if the due north path plays out, so that being said I do not see Ivan going any further west than Nawlens and any further east than Tampa.

I voted yes because its not what I expect. The reasoning is clouded, but I assure you there.

NO, will continue on W-NW track going between CUBA and YUCATAN

It will be very close but I think Ivan just barely misses Cuba. But by that time, I also believe the north turn will be very pronounced. IMHO

Captin: Its moving NW, or slightly N of NW and has been for 5 hours now.

The storm was supposed to turn toward the W tip of Cuba 2+ days ago.
