#1 Postby air360 » Sun Sep 12, 2004 4:42 pm

2 questions
1)do any of you use any software for viewing models and/or tracking the canes or do you just go to websites and stuff...(im not asking for links or anything...i know of the websites..just curious as to how everyone is viewing their information)
2) have any of you ever heard of or used or have the HURRTRAK software...how is it...it is very expensive!!

Try:

http://HurricaneSoftware.com

They charge for internet service for updates, but you can update the storm's progress manually for free.

P.S. The download is free plus you get a free trial period for the internet updates.

yea, i have tried ALOT of the free software and i came to the conclusion that most of them are just more hassle than just going on and pulling up links from my favorites folder...although the hurrtrak software looks amazing...i dont have that kinda money to spend on hurricane software!

is there a program for JUST viewing models. i think it would be neat to have a program that just has a map and a bunch of buttons at the top of all the models and each time you click a button it would just paste that model on there and stuff and have them either buttons or checkbox's so you could toggle on and off certain models...no tracking stuff...just models and that information..simple program :) cant someone throw something together..haha
