THats because those models are run off the GFS( wich has been trying to hook Ivan like that for days). That means that besides the GFS all other models are alot further to the left. All but the UKMET are biased.

Because the GFS wen't right a little. that is the EXACT track of the GFS.

NO you don't get it. HE was asking why did the NHC say they was on the right of the models when that map showed they where on he left. I was explaining why the NHC track was to the right. Because those models are considerd basicly ONE.

I'm not trying to be rude so I hope it isn't taken that way but apparantly there is a shortwave heading to the Gulf that has now eroded the ridge. Look out Apalachicola I would say down to Ft. Myers.

Watch out Caneman, it could erode the ridge, but it could also ride over it as has been happening for the last few days. The ridge won't last forever west, so Ivan should turn sometime. Summer troughs aren't as firm as fall. Ivan could compromise like Frances and slowly head north as it weakens...
