Did they kick him off the air!? Has anyone seen him after the recon fiasco?

OMIGOD no! Hopefully he didn't get in trouble over that, nor his feelings hurt over my previous comments if they are checking in on our board. I know a lot of folks like him, I just miss the old fashioned weather channel and he just makes me laugh to think that much of the audience really needs him to speak that way.
Plus...someone else handed him the recon data. He even expressed that he couldn't believe how much of a drop he was reading and that more would follow at 2:00. -maybe he wanted to do a little further checking too. But I am very suprised nothing more was said at all about the incident!

They are all most likely busy trying to figure out where it came from and how that error mananaged to make it to paper to be handed to him. Bet some dodo is flowing up stream right now.

*DAVE SCHWARTZ* WAS ON TONIGHT!
HE WORKS MON THRU FRIDAYS...Typically From 12:00 AM Est. To 2:00AM! "Usually" Every Other Week, He Switches, And Works The 'After' 2am Time Slot Mon-Friday!
Just The Other Night I Recorded Him, Stating That Orlando Had Reduced 'Hurricane' Specials To Bring Back The Tourists...And That "Florida" Was Not Currently Having A Hurricane! Of Course They Weren't It Was Only Thursday/Friday! I Replayed It For My Daughter...She Was Equally "Surprised" Because Dave Is NOT That Careless About Hurricanes! After The Commercial, He Came Back On Showing The Beginning Evacuation Of The Keys!
~My Guess?....I Was Wondering *IF* It's Possible That TWC Was 'Asked' OR 'Told'...To Tell Folks That Traveling On Highway 75 Down Into Florida Was Clear, & The Beach Was Fine...Especially In The Orlando Area, To Bring Back Some Lost Revenue, If Only Briefly?~ Of Course NONE Of This Made Sense To Me...As I've Been Reading All Of These Posts Here About The Gas Problems, And Food Shortages, A Few Days Ago!
I Recorded Him Tonight, As I Badly Needed A Nap, So I'll Go Over That Tape...But I Did Look Back At His 1:53ish Am EST Tropical Update, And He DID Seem His Usual Self!
By The Way, Asheville, NC Took Quite A Flooding, And Clyde & Canton In Haywood County Are Flooded, Lots Of Things Closed...Water Contaminated, Etc! 500 Dogs & Cats Had To Be Rescued The Other Night...Because Of Flooding, As Well As Elderly, & Others! Some Folks In A Shelter!
This Inland Flooding Is Gross!

Stormwinds, I just got one of those ads (here in MA) as a spam fax. Orlando Special $99!!! "Hurry... Your vacation includes 4 days and 3 nights in Orlando and 2 passes to your choice of theme parks..." The funny thing here is that it includes a "bonus" trip to Jamaica..."

Yes, there are people up here who are following through on vacation plans... Including cruises. If the cruise ships are not running, then no one has said so up here and people who have booked and don't go lose their money... Same with other vacation reservations. Apparently many people have the impression is that there are specific towns with problems, but that generally things are okay, so "come on down!"

What the heck happened? I do hope that management realizes that he's only reporting what is given to him. He is one of my favorites, along with Cantore, Seidel & Mancuso.

TWC is usually recorded from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM Eastern... so Dave Schwartz wouldn't really "be back on."

They should have had "Live" in the upper left-hand corner.
