Hurricane Interaction With Land

#1 Postby dougjp » Sat Sep 11, 2004 7:12 am

I have not seen any detail on what caused the west track around Jamaica. None of the forecasts showed anything like this, they all straight lined the storm over or very near Jamaica.

Are there any good sites where I can go to to learn about the affects of land on hurricanes, that have some detailed analysis of past storms near and over land?
