Is this guy serious?!?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

i think we should try to find a way to harness the energy from a hurricane since they are that full of it...maybe hydroelectric sites in hurricane prone areas...they won't be getting much on a daily basis but when one comes their way!!!

If he droped 100 tons of this stuff into the cane, that would absorbe between 300,000 and 400,000 tons of moisture. That is a significant amount. I think it will help in the end.

Yea Earth but it's going ot create an unbalance somewhere else down the road so in the end it's actually not good. As many have stated hurricanes help vent heat from the tropics to the poles. We need this type of transfer. You stop hurricanes then mother nature will find some other way to do this since the unbalances will still be in the atmosphere regardless.

People playing with nature like that annoy me. Leave its balance alone!

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when he leases that thing!

"Thank you for choosing Hertz. What would you like to rent?"
"A Boeing 747."
"Very good. And where will you be traveling?"
"Into a hurricane."
"Oh."
"I'd also like to purchase the supplemental insurance."

HAHA...too funny...but seriously, is this dyno-stuff biodegradable? if he drops a load in the water... a load of the dyno-stuff that is... how much of the wildlife is going to try to eat it? does it float? does it make good nesting material for seagulls?... fish will eat anything. we could end up with an ocean full of dead animals.
