The address on the website says they are in Kingston. I've been wondering if they are in a bunker. They did say at one point they couldn't hear the wind and rain in the studio.

Was wondering about that too but figured most studio's are 'soundproofed' and that's why we can't hear the wind.

If it could be then I must say we keep it up.

Yes, I thought this during Frances, and now during Ivan. I have no doubt about the power of prayer. Yes, the way this scenario is playing out undoubtedly has a solid meteorological explanation, as was the case when Frances weakened to a CAT 2 before landfall. However, I believe the Author of the current atmospheric condition in the Caribbean granted the request of many, many people tonight...that Jamaica be spared the full force of a CAT 5 hurricane. One reason I believe this is because this storm, and Frances, undoubtedly inspired more prayers than most tropical systems do, mostly because of the heightened awareness begun by Charley. Of course, the extent of the damage as well as the future course of Ivan remains to be seen, but noone can deny that Jamaica has already fared better than predicted.

Those are my thoughts...what do other people think?

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
when you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on.
Don't let yourself go, everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes.

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along.
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
if you feel like letting go, (hold on)
when you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on.

Everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends.
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand.
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
when you think you've had too much of this life to hang on.

Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes.
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on.
Hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on. (repeat )

A friend suggested this and it worked the first time out.

Download wimamp http://www.winamp.com/download

After you download winamp 2.95 then follow the instructions below:

Go Here, http://www3.e-gleaner.com/20040910/audio/

Then hit the 24k under the winamp symbol.

It will ask you to save it..

Then after it is saved, open winamp up and hit the little box that has a URL on it. Browse to where you put that file and open it.
*********************
Then go to the open files icon on winamp and highlight winamp and save it

It will show (Unnamed Server) in the URL when it is playing.

Hope that helps.

Stood there boldly
Sweatin’ in the sun
Felt like a million
Felt like number one
The height of summer
I’d never felt that strong
Like a rock

I was eighteen
Didn’t have a care
Working for peanuts
Not a dime to spare
But I was lean and
Solid everywhere
Like a rock

My hands were steady
My eyes were clear and bright
My walk had purpose
My steps were quick and light
And I held firmly
To what I felt was right
Like a rock

Like a rock, I was strong as I could be
Like a rock, nothin’ ever got to me
Like a rock, I was something to see
Like a rock

And I stood arrow straight
Unencumbered by the weight
Of all these hustlers and their schemes
I stood proud, I stood tall
High above it all
I still believed in my dreams

Twenty years now
Where’d they go?
Twenty years
I don’t know
Sit and I wonder sometimes
Where they’ve gone

And sometimes late at night
When I’m bathed in the firelight
The moon comes callin’ a ghostly white
And I recall
Recall

Like a rock. standin’ arrow straight
Like a rock, chargin’ from the gate
Like a rock, carryin’ the weight
Like a rock

Lihe a rock, the sun upon my skin
Like a rock, hard against the wind
Like a rock, I see myself again
Like a rock
