Andy_L, I was wondering about that a few minutes ago. You are confirming my suspicion.

Does it freak anyone else out to know we may be hearing the last words from some of these people?

It's like we can't do a damn thing. I did notice Ivan pulling off to the west.

JUST MAYBE..... The eye will miss them. I know it won't do anything to change the winds and rain, but I just feel so bad right now.

This music is so beautiful.

Somebody could email the station and ask them. My curiosity temps me to do so, but as I listen to the DJ's and islanders maintaining hope and peace of mind, I hate to suggest something that negative.

It is hard to believe that they can be emailed in the midst of this.

Yes..my brain keeps thinking they will get the eye but my heart keeps hoping it keeps missing. At least to spare them the 'worst' of it..what they are getting already is MORE then enough I am sure!

The loop on Meteostar has it takeing a turn towards the west which makes it look as though it may take its suspected northern turn around Jamaica....only a guess though. Only an observation. (Look at my post count...I'm a newb.)

Yes, this whole experience is freaking me out. I keep swinging from sadness to hope. Indeed, these Jamiacans have a knack for picking poignant and inspiring tunes.

I wonder if it is some kind of power saving measure to play music? I have no knowledge of power generators, etc. So I have no idea.

ANother interesting observation - have you noticed that they have said nothing about where they themselves are located at? No looking out the windows, nothing about hearing the wind blowing outside the studio.

I wonder where they are...

I've tried everything to get in. Clicked on both links in this thread. Didn't work. Downloaded software for almost an hour for RealPlayer and Winamp and it still won't play. What am I doing wrong?

Has anyone considered the thought that as of we listen and pray along with them that there could be "higher" power starting to come into play with all of this, just by the power of positive thought ?

If it could be then I must say we keep it up.

I think it just gives the disk jockey a chance to change his underwear every once in a while.
