They said they'd be playing some music before they came back...didn't say how long they would be playing it.

A guy called sounding VERY scared and said this hurricane was 'like waiting for the results of an HIV test'

...also emergancy management is saying that if your roof is gone and the building looks like it is going to collapse to get in a closet or in a tub and put a mattress over you.

Lady called very upset over why they don't have the shelters prepared right. She is very upset over the state of the country.

Another gentleman called and said "we're haveing our 9/11.

Initial reports saying some area's have lost telephone service but the wireless cable service is holding up well. Cell service in some area's are out.

Email's coming in from all over the world...

a little 11 year old is crying she is scared...she said she was screaming cause of the wind... awww what nice Dj's to reassure her! They say this is a life experience..now when she grows up she will be careful if something like this happens. AWW they said hug her mommy and be safe and warm! They say write in an essay her experience with Ivan.

He really brightened spirits though. After Ray's call, that was a complete polar opposite.
