Tampa

Did anyone listen to the weather channel around eleven? I had the sound off while on the phone and they were showing the population of Tampa for 1960 and the present. One minute I feel safe and the next the hair is standing up on my neck. I hate the five day forecast, I call it "AN EXPERIMENT IN TERROR" a good title for a horror movie.

LOL Cookiely -- was wondering why I'm more nervous than usual during the "season." It's the 5-day! Gives you more time to visualize the unthinkable  :)

I will never understand giving a forecast that has no basis in reality. They need to wait until they have a reasonably accurate forecast and release it then and only then. If they want to experiment with five day fine and dandy but keep the info to themselves or the proper authorities who might need to know in advance.

I think they can't win. It takes four days to evacuate Tampa Bay Metro.
