Having faith in God to protect you while you are taking care to protect yourself is smart.

Having faith in God to protect you when you refuse to leave in spite of evactuation orders IS IGNORANT.

I don't believe that God intended for us to be blindly ignorant of common sense in order to prove our faith in Him.

Another 2 1/2 hours until eye hits. Roads blocked, hundreds of roofs lost, and they haven't seen anything yet.

By the time the 5PM news broadcast ran, the officials had long ago announced that evacuation buses would no longer be running due to threatening conditions. At that point citizens were on their own. Prior to that announcement officials and most (not all) radio commentators were encouraging citizens to go to shelters. One commentator earlier today did spend his whole show talking politics about the suspension of freedoms and dismissing the seriousness of the threat. Then he did an about face in the last five minutes of his show. It was odd, but again officials did encourage citizens to seek shelter earlier today.

Yea, knock the door down. You're losing keys to a school/shelter, this is a mess.

God gave man the ability to reason, and a free will.He leaves it up to you what to do with it.If you stay in a place of harm with the ability to seek a safer place,I think he would consider that foolish

And they still have hours until the eye hits. I have a really bad feeling when the 150 MPH hits, we may see thousands dead... Roofs are already off, people stuck in houses who want to leave -- How can you evacuate people in 70mph winds???
