The machete thing, earlier they said there were gangs of youths, maybe 20 strong, brandishing machetes and looting. This could explain the machete wound.

wow, thats nuts! all these people talking about being scared in their homes. shoulda listened and went to a shelter. hopefully they can all make it thru this!

8 month old baby and two daughters at their home... sad these people aren't in shelters.

did they just not think it would hit them? the sad thing is...alota people here in jax have the same attitude. since we "always" get lucky and it turns away from us alot of people dont prepare.
