I heard this about an hour or so ago then couldn't get back into the baord.
Gangs of armed men in the corporate area reported by numerous callers. Apparently the police have a new phone number. Seargent name? of the police on the phone. He's seems to be avoiding talking about the armed men, talking about trees in the road. The interviewer asking if anyone is manning those new phone lines lines. The Seargeant assures that someone is. Seargeant says "we are not taking the looting lightly." Most of the police men and women are out on patrol, "I have witnessed them." Interviewers seem distrustful that police are protecting citizenry.
Sheets of Zinc are flying in all directions.
Maxine in Montego Bay: Looters breaking into cars. Clothing Store on Church Street. Trees are already torn down. Difficulty standing in the wind.

I ain't a met pro, but I've lived with these storms all my life
With all due respect, you have not lived with category 5 hurricanes all your life. Only one, if you were there for Andrew. A little less attitude would be appreciated.
I love the Jamaican people I'm listening to tonight, they are really teaching me a lot about resiliency and perspective.
Someone periodically brings the commentators info in from the Internet. They read the 8pm update from NHC a bit earlier just to let people know where the eye was. They said they usually depend on TWC but that power is out. It's better they don't listen to TWC! Who needs Storm Stories at a time like this?
