My only question...
I live just west of Mobile, AL. I'm going out of town for awhile and don't want to leave the pets if there's ANY danger of Ivan coming this way. To me, all discussion and models point to Ivan staying well east of here. Is there ANY reason at this point to think Ivan could come this far west and what would that reason be?[/b]

Well.....
The NHC and TWC and several on here are pointing towards the FL west coast or the big bend area. There are still some models that have landfall further west (NOGAPS, CMC) and some trending west (GFDL). Let's see which side of Jamaica the storm passes on and we'll have a better idea if it's peninsula bound or panhandle (or west) bound.
