Folks,
Since Frances crossed FL the Model Map page and Mid-Atlantic WX.com overall seem okay. IT informed me it's again getting jiggy and this is only starting. At several points today the model map was loading over 350 pages simultaniously while the MyQSL db was rendering many different maps. Three days out the totals at that site double so I'm worried the database and/or the map blows up.
Worst load always is around TPC Advisories and the hour after the hurricane models text uploads (guess everyone knows when I do maps). As you help out s2k please do me a kindness as well. DON'T RELOAD! If you get a 404 or hang, please chip in by bailing out and coming back later. A ton of people use the site's International link for forecasts around Ivan's path. No problem but the db makes every page on the fly and is going to get very slow. Please...if the model map takes over 30 seconds on a dial-up to load...my back is breaking.
I'm devoting the weekend to the site meaning ~19 hours/day doing maps and other hurricane products. If it blows up I'm dead and will need to watch TWC. I'll work all weekend but pleasepleaseplease be patient and no reloading. Fair enough?
Thanks
Scott

I was going to ask the same thing. I couldn't find the model maps link either. You need to make a more prominent link in the left navigation frame. That's where one would tend to look for it. Saw your answer above and found it in the header.

Didn't put it in the primary nav frame b/c the model map is part of the Tropical products. But "service" is my middle name (ummm...not true) so I'll get something on the home page.
Thanks for the suggestions.
