I beg your pardon. I guess you also missed the various threads (one created by me) about calling others people I disagree with. Here it is:

As you can clearly see, it doesn't say anything about not criticizing just the forecasters and mods, but actually stresses not criticizing any of our members!

Just wait when the model shifts back into the atlantic out to sea or shifts towards the other gulf coast states, then you will be the first to say that the gfs is wrong. It really is ashame that you have become sort of a wishcaster as of late, i used to take you seriously but now idk...When a supposed "good" forcaster as yourself aims it for south fl(your living area) instead of the most likely area at this time(the panhandle or mobile(sp) then i have to start asking questions. Maybe the people in FL have just gone insane from all the hits you've taken in the last month. If i am wrong and it does hit S FL then more credit to you and i will surely eat the crow thats served to me.
I know I'll get flamed for saying but I believe it must be said.
I DON'T agree with everything this guy posted about Mike but some of what he says does have merit. I have always liked reading Mike's post but for some reason he has been biased toward a S. Florida landfall. In my opinion a good forecaster always looks at different scenarios and does NOT just focus on one. Especially when you have a storm that is still several days away from landfall. Many on this board including Mike have been saying a S. Florida/Florida landfall even before Ivan entered the Carribean!!! Again if you want to flame me then so be it.
It's funny how this stuff gets stirred up...remember that game where you wisper something and it starts out a one thing...but by the time it get to the other end is'ts a completely different message.
I challenge anyone to find a post where I am calling for a landfall in EFL. YOU WILL NOT FIND ONE. I am sorry for any gulf residents who feel I am leaving them out...I'm not. This storm is probably not going to TX or LA or AL. You'd be surpried over the years of people who get MAD at me because I somehow think a storm is NOT coming to where they live.
Where it goes in FL? Can only guess and look at the trends. No way to know for sure...which is why I dedicated an entire post to that subject earlier today.
I have had nightmares every night for the past 2 weeks...no power...no food...having to leave my home...children sweating in the sun because of no AC...bugs...snakes...baked up sewage lines. You name it...I have woken up scared about it.
There will be no further discussion with anyone on this subject. If you have a beef...send me a PM.

Houstoner wrote:Excuse me? Mods have called MEMBERS people I disagree with and you cared nothing of it! If you want to demand respect, than demand it both ways instead of getting on a member for calling a mod a wishcaster and ignoring a mod who calls a member a wishcaster.
I see you edited your post after I hit the quote button. I've never seen a mod call a member a wishcaster, but if you could show me where, I'd be happy to look. I can guarantee you it wasn't me. Yes, I demand repect to our forecasters, our mods AND our members. That's the storm2k way.
So no, I didn't ignore any such thing. I work hard to try and keep this board fair and enjoyable for everyone. I don't appreciate you accusing me of doing otherwise.

As an Admin/Owner of this board I do demand respect for the staff. They work tirelessly to keep this place clean and free of trolls. Those that attack anyone on this board will soon be finding someplace else to post. Mike is one of the best level headed forecasters I've ever known. It's ok to disagree with a reasoned post but there is absolutely no need for the other stuff.
