agree, they are pretty close together.....showing a florida strike then heading up the east cost for a possible SC or NC second strike....scary :cry:

I was just looking at those. They've been pretty consistent throughout the day today with just slight shifts in the tips of the lines....not good news for S. FL IMO.....

These models are 13 and 7 hours old respectively...

Things change...remember they all use to have a severe curve over the peninsula...

With this storm the models are at most accurate to 72 hrs...or 4 hrs if it is the GFS

LOL - I think, according to the NOGAPS, Ivan is beelining it to Canada to avoid being stopped by U.S. Immigration!

NOGAPS was run the earliest today. It'll be interesting to see if that one falls into line later.

I missed the 8 PM, but according to that track map the SHIPS now has Ivan at a category 5 until landfall. Anybody else notice that?

Edit above post: It stays at cat 5 AFTER it goes back up to cat 5 in the next 24 hrs.
