Somewhere along the Gulf coast of Florida.

Unfortunately for my Mom who lives in Niceville right across the bay from Destin, I think that area is the most likely landfall at this point.

I'd much prefer th eone that says the most unpopulated area available within the areas Ivan has a chance to go to!!!!

That being said, untill about 72 hours from now NO ONE ON THE GULF COAST can rest easy. By that time the patterns will be much more clear and it will be obvious how Ivan is being affected by them or how he is affecting them.

Point of impact?

I’m thinking the synoptic environment will produce a TRIFECTA for the lower half of Florida, I’m still without power in WPB, have friends in Punta Gorda that are without a home. To soon for a pinpoint landfall but I feel a slice through the Keys followed by Naples then a right hand turn and exit the state just above the WPB area. From there… maybe a fish?
