I didn't find it funny but only because the joke is so old, not so much because it was "tasteless".

damn it people, life goes on even after disaster. you can rebuild and all but seriously, it wouldnt hurt to have a bit of humor right now would it? I thought it was very funny. Stop being so glum and laugh and youll feel a bit better. thats part of coping.
