I live on the Outer Banks. By the current track we could be in trouble instead of Florida if this eastward trend continues. Why does it seem that every hurricane always hit Florida or NC?

some poeple would switch if geico only had one deductible per season. come on folks, a little humor goes a long way sometimes. take the original post in stride and do everything you can do to prepare and try no to feel to sorry for yourself. you have to admit we have been rather fortunate but now wreather as always tends to average out. stay safe everyone and use your past few weeks of experience dealing with power loss, gas shortage etc to help you through the next week or so.

Ok I thought it was funny! We need somethings to laugh at. Everything here is so serious (understandable) but that sounds just like a commercial they would do.
I am sure JMM was NOT trying to hurt anyones feelings.

However, in the situation we are in sense of humor is out the window. To many frayed nerves.

Everybody handles stress in different ways. Some look for what little humor there is when things look bleak. Nothing wrong with that. Nothing wrong with not laughing at it, either--but no need to get in a fight over it.

I can definitly see the humor here, but it's hard to laugh when your wallet hurts so bad :( :( Frances was expensive enough, now I have to worry about Ivan. My patience are nearing an end. I can not wait till winter and the end of this season. I feel that us folks here in FL are on the wrong end of a gatlin gun.

Maybe so. For me it was the response: "Come on, I saved! I thought that meant something to you." that made me laugh out loud.
