NHC puts Jamaica in the path of this strong Cat 4 hurricane... And from the satellite, it looks like they are dead on ATTM :(

Could the rest of the track be correct as well?? :eek:

Thanks! Is it just me... or is it showing a POSSIBLE landfall in W FL near Tampa in 120 hrs?

that is the 12 Z run. The new 00Z run is through 108 hours and shows it slightly south and west of the 12Z positon.

Listening to the weather now, and they are talking NOW it may be coming up our way. But as we know that is subject to change. Some say possible back out and away POOF.

The new NOGAPS is slightly west and south of the 12Z run. 120H on the 12Z run was near Jacksonville. The new run is near Tampa in 120 H.

Great... just what Tampa wanted to hear. Not getting down on you MobileBay.. just saying Tampa does not want to hear the Ivan is coming their way.

Yea I think 278' constintues a NW movement over the last 6hrs @ .2'N and 1.4'W.While I am at it I shall eloborate further that since 8:00a.m. this morning to 11:00 p.m. this evening Ivan has gone 1.1'N and 3.4'W @ roughly 280.46712' for the last 15hrs NNNWWW.Numbers do not lie.
