#1 Postby hurricanedude » Wed Sep 08, 2004 1:43 am

whether or not IVAN hits FL or not is still unknown...I just know a lot of new model runs wanting to take aim on the state....so more Xanax pills to be popped in the coming days for a lot of Floridians

Well The IF you throw out the GFS run, wich will include the GFDL, and the BAMM Models You are left with NOGAPS, CMC, UKMET. NOGAPS is Toward Florida (West Coast), the 00Z run of the UKMET is further west along 86W, and the CMC is just south of New Orleans. Split the difference and the UKMET will be followed closely.IMO. I don't think the GFS has a clue. Interestes in the new EURO. Anyone have any thoughts on the models?

Personally, I'm skipping the XANAX and setting up a scotch IV drip.

I'm getting the heck out of town if that sucker is still aimed at us Sunday morning, I can't take anymore. Headed for the east coast at 5:00am.

I hear ya, Lebowsky.

I'm just tryin' to decide where to go. Of the three places I'd normally go, one is no longer there (thank you, Charley), one doesn't have electricity (thank you, Frances), and the third is looking mighty crowded. ;)

I've deicded that it will just follow me anyhow. Went thru Charley in Kissimmee and stayed home only to get hit by Frances. I find drinking heavily helps!

95 and exit 204 in Savannah-lots of hotels to take you in. If I wasn't a renter, I would open my house up.

Leave me room on the road, Frances was my 1st experience (in Ft Meyers Beach) and we are worn, cannot comprehend how tired and stressed the locals are!

our plan is to go to our house in the Smokies, but that sure doesnt look good with the Little Pigeon River flooding. Rats! Guess we'll head to NW Arkansas and hang out in Fayetteville. Go Hogs!
