I was hoping for another vortex message soon ... but more likely, early in the AM ... (around 2/3 am)

WOW... just imagine if it had done that just BEFORE hitting the islands. Would have been a lot worse(although it's bad enough as it is).

Unimaginable
I don't even want to try to think of what would have happened. Thankfully, it weakened considerably before reaching us.

abajan, how did you fare? I was at work most of the day and was praying for you, your family and your island.

I'd love to stay up for recon data, but I can't do it.
Oh well, something to wake up for in the morning! :)

I know this is stupid....but is anyone giving ANY indication this COULD come up the East coast of Florida? I know it's to far out to rule anything out....but is there even a fraction of a chance?
