Dangit,

Since I am not educated enough in synoptic patterns to create my own model I'll offer my prediction Eastern GOM.....unless a we see th trough dig in and the ridge to the east of Ivan gets "pumped" up. I am not sure the models are picking that up now or not but if it happens then we'll all hold hands and hope Ivan has a taste for cod...

HIGHLY unlikely but I would welcome it up here as it would likely be a much weaker storm than if it hit the SE US or gulf states. I will take this one on for all of you who have been beat up all season!!!

Not a "WC", just a prayer for everyone in FLA....

I would not mind of he went that far north BEFORE landfall. But it does look like somebody will get clobbered first. I am getting kind of jumpy about the model guidance. Folks around here remember Hazel.
