Ok, I really know nothing of these things, but weather facinates me. WHich brings me to a question about the current GOES Atlantic pic.

Is that circular blob directly east of Ivan anything to be concerned about?

Yes. It will probably be our next tropical depression in the next day or two.

Possibly - it's currently a wave that the National Hurricane Center is watching for potential development....

As of this morning, it was still a tropical wave. Starting to look like a TD to me, though.
