They fell off the air... but *someone* put up music... I can still hear music.

I'm hoping he's safe.

did you hear the wind blowing like mad there? their generator may have run out too. that high pitched sound could have been their UPS crapping out....

3 o'clock and the station power just went in a most sudden and disturbing fashion. Hope they make it through OK.

im getting kind of scared listening to this live radio. all i hear is the wind, and crackling from live wires (literally, there are electrical wires you can hear) on the radio. did the DJ just ditch the station with the system running? that is very very scary. i prey to God the thoughts in my head about the about the fate of that DJ and the island, listening to this broadcast, is not what is actual

I'm not hearing anything- and I have my radio up at full volume. Just a little static on the line- which woudl be normal if the station was off the air.

TWC Current winds are 90km/hour at Grenada

#36 Postby skysummit » Tue Sep 07, 2004 6:36 pm

What is this in *F? Aren't these winds a little high since the eye looks to be about 60 miles to the west of the island? Boy, Ivan must have a HUGE windfield!
