Scary how similar these two tracks are

My hubby pointed this out to me this morning:

Click on this link and it'll show you Ivan's track so far, then choose Charley for this year - it's almost an exact completion - :eek:

Then click on Earl. Bzzt. A storm on the same track can fizzle just as easily.

This goes back to the thought that these storms don't make it to the GOM during this part of the year - Very interesting.

Extremely interesting that none of those storms made it into the gulf, however many of them brushed florida. This will be interesting to track over the next 24 hours.... unlike the crawling Frances, with Ivan we should know soon the general direction he will be heading. (Models?)
