he is getting larger.

That is already bigger than Charley.

He is projected to be a category 4 by that time.

Central America is not exactly equiped to survive a category 4 storm.

especially if it happens to Honduras or Nicaragua.

I know its 6 years since Mitch.

but those countries would take longer than 6 years to recover from such disaster that the US would for example.

Folks, take a look at the NHC forecast advisory as of 5 AM. They seem to have a reasonably good grasp of the environmental factors that will impact Ivan later in the week.

Just remember what J.B. says, the NHC does a great job with deep tropicial systems it's the handoffs they as everyone tussel with. Should be very close to the 96hr forecast. 8-)
