Fox News 'Hyping' Fla Landfall for Ivan...
Ok it's too early to tell but why is Fox News 'hyping' a Fla landfall for Ivan. I see no reason to get people all worked up over nothing. Sad to say, but Fox is always being over dramatic. At this point, Fla is no more likely to be hit than Central America.

TWC has been hyping it too. I believe Jeff Morrow referred to Ivan as a "black cloud on the horizon" for Floridians. Doesn't get much more hyped than that.

Every station locally is saying Ivan is on a Charley type track and we need to stay vigilent. Most of us will be lucky to have time to replenish our supplies and get some gasoline before the next event. I for one, am glad that the "hype" is there. At the most, it will get people to make preparations for another hit, and at the least, it will cause a big sigh of relief.

Believe it or not,I even heard someone (maybe it was on Fox) refer to Ivan as "Ivan The Terrible"
Given the fact that the 5am NHC track map shows Ivan heading in the direction of Florida's west coast,I don't see any harm in mentioning it as a possibility, but to say FLorida's going to get smacked again is alittle irresponsible
