Ivan sinking

As Ivan bobbles southwestard.......he is risking heading to where hurricanes go to die.......seen this many times before with storms this far south forecast to turn northwest.....they sometimes just dont.

I don't think this one will just..sink, or so I would assume, seems it won't.

Dennis,

Where do hurricanes go to die?
I'm guessing it has something to do with a kind of doldrums and a latitude that's not conducive to the spin.
Weird that Ivan was born in an rea with low "spin friendliness"
