Saw it online - Yankees website shows the line score. You can get on "gameday" if you click on it from the yanks website and it will give you real time pitch by pitch updates.

It's such small potatoes compared to the suffering of some storm victims, but it was also a shame that the Marlins after winning 7 in a row had to have a home stand against the Cubs canceled.

The Yankees are demanding that the Devil Rays forfeit the first game. How's that for sportsmanship and understanding for your fellow man? I hope they get their butts kicked!

I can't imagine how many "headhunts" will occur next week when the sox play the devil rays if this happens! It would be completely irrational if this happened. I truly hope that it doesn't!

MLB would be doing an injustice if this happens, I don't think that it will. I don't care what I do for a living... family first no matter what... I hope that MLB has the same philosophy...

You can't be serious? That's just plain and outright utterly ridiculous from those Damn Yankees to even have the gall to demand that ...

I was thinking the same thing about 9/11

All of baseball was shut down.. This is an unusual circumstance with Frances and all. Shouldn't the same exceptions apply??????? Frances hasn't affected the whole country, but .......

I am so mad....

What happens if IVAN hits NY when the Red Sox are scheduled to play them there?? I am sure that Steinbrenner will buy his way into a make up game or two.........

Sorry.............

agree......it just ticks me off that because of a major national event like frances...a team will demand a forfeit!!! that's like asking l.a. to forfeit after an earthquake---no offense to anyone in the l.a. area...i even have a nephew that lives around there!
