well, I can remember for the last two years, those storms were very strong and both made landfall in the U.S. If Isabel hadn't gone down to cat 2 both would've made landfalls as majors too. Isidore hit the Yucatan as a cat 3, then hit Louisiana I think as a t.s. Everyone knows what happened with Isabel.
