Wow. I really hope this is a fish, not to mention a tropical storm. The "I" myth needs to be broken.

I don't care about Ivan right now... I'll worry with it when Frances gets gone.

What a difference a month makes. Anyone remembers how we were wondering if this season would ever get going?

We were practically begging for some action.

I guess I'm in the dark, but what is the "I" myth?

well, I can remember for the last two years, those storms were very strong and both made landfall in the U.S. If Isabel hadn't gone down to cat 2 both would've made landfalls as majors too. Isidore hit the Yucatan as a cat 3, then hit Louisiana I think as a t.s. Everyone knows what happened with Isabel.

All of the storms dating back to 98' with the letter "I" grew to be very intense is the basic idea of it. Most recent were Isabel and Isidore

I'm ready to see what Ivan can do. Now that Frances has snubbed us, it's time to look at Ivan (and Jeanne, looks like she's on the way too) and see if he'll head over here. Not to mention the E-Pac's lead would be cut to 11-10. The race for the 2004 title is going to be a THRILLER :P
