The biggest seller in our store right now is plastic containers, the big 48/55 gallon ones are gone. Even the orange Halloween ones... The radios, flashlights, batteries, and water were gone before noon. Tarps and camping supplies, gone last weekend with Gaston. I've got 3 runs of absolutely nothing right now... However, I did get 12 pallets of Halloween candy today!!!

If you're thinking of playing the wait and see game for supplies, don't count on it. It's a holiday weekend and that means even regular shipments are delayed!

The $$$$$$ have already evacuated Hilton Head, tourists have been cancelling Labor Day reservations since Tuesday AM. All the Officials need now is a whiff of North and they will swing into action. Nobody wants to be behind the curve on this one. Rumored school closing on friday, electronic signs already stategically placed, EMS staff on standby, etc. etc. We've been here since 1990, right after Hugo, seen Floyd, Bertha, etc., etc. You never know what will happen next.

Ga hasn't been told anything yet. Still waiting to see what happens. However, Jax is closing schools, and that is something to consider. I am ready to go if we are told to, but I hope this turns out like it usually does for us. A turn at the last minute, or anytime for that matter.
