I don't even want to think about it. Looks like my dreams of relocating to South Flordia are going to be put on hold..
BTW: what is the news saying down there? I have a good friend who lives off Indiantown Road, I spoke with her this morning about the storm.. I am concerned that she may try and ride it out.

Awww, never give up on your dreams! I was born in Florida and I love it, will never leave. It's wonderful here, hope you are able to enjoy it someday.
As far as the news in concerned: They are actually being very realistic and advising with caution. Other than one minute saying it's (the eye) gonna hit SLC/IR county, and the next Brevard, and the next ___, you get my point. They are pretty much issuing mandatory evacuations for the eastern treasure coast. All gov't offices and schools have announced closures. Everyone is boarding up. It's sad actually, but I'm glad to see people preparing.
I guess we'll know more soon...We plan to stay for now, but I just don't know. I mean, where would we go, lol?

The news in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami says probably Central Florida, but possibly S. Florida and even S. Carolina.
Thanks guys...that's half the Eastern Seaboard. That doesn't help us. :p
But folks are gassing up, buying stuff (the stores are mobbed tonight), getting money and on the way home, I saw folks getting out shutters. This is in Northern Broward county.
And the news is pretty much all "hurricane".
