NHC needs to adjust track to W again

#1 Postby GNWeather » Wed Sep 01, 2004 1:13 pm

I wish I could attach a pic of my hurricane track program showing the 2pm position already W of the 11am forecast track. This is the same thing that happened at 11pm last night when the 2am advisory came out this AM. Unless Frances does something dramatic, West Palm Beach area or further S possibly, looks to be the landfall target. We shall see what unfolds.

I agree. Every time I see a pic of the models it seems like they always take Frances and immediately turn her NW from her current position. This just hasn't happened yet. The most accurate one IMO so far is the LBAR.
