Copied this from a local weather forum a little bit ago concerning the Northerly track of Frances.
Getting a lot of reports from other sites that the dropsonde data corrupted the models yesterday, hence the northerly tracks according to Mayfield. Hmmmm
Any thoughts??

I heard about the bad dropsonde data. Of course they are machines and they can malfunction at times.
