Severe Weather Check-in Policy

#1 Postby southerngale » Wed Sep 01, 2004 12:13 am

Could everyone please pm me or Lindaloo with your contact numbers for the Severe Weather Check-in policy?

Your numbers will only be seen by me, Linda, Chad and Marshall. We feel that we can cover the clock very well by having a few of us with them but they will never be used for purposes other than the above mentioned unless you initiate it and we will not share them with anyone else. We want to make sure all of our members are safe in the event severe weather occurs in your area and we don't hear from you. If you do experience severe weather, please post as soon as you can to let everyone know you are ok.

Feel free to give alternate numbers if you will be evacuating.

Also, be sure and put your location in your profile so we'll know if your area has been affected.

Thank you and everyone please heed warnings and stay safe!

Edit: If you want to give at least your first name, it would avoid one of us asking, "Is GalvestonDuck there?" or "Can I speak to NFLnut?" :)

They aren't members of a wx board site...but sent my cousins who live in Sarasota, FL...an email telling them my folks and I are praying for and thinking of them as well as scores of other Floridians across that state.
