Seeing Northward Trend....ULL not climbing out

#1 Postby Burn1 » Tue Aug 31, 2004 7:53 pm

Starting to verify right side bias. Enough weakness to keep away from
S. FL. With trough digging in from west I am starting to suspect the Carolinas again....Hey, we can enjoy our weekend( a little windy) and the Big Game on Monday won't be cancelled

I agree hurricanedude. It is still anybodies guess as to where this thing will end up. Everyone needs to be paying attention.

NO offense Burn1 while I know you don't want the cane to hit S. Fl (or anyone in Fl) as do I all the conditions are pointing more and more to a hit in Fl somewhere. I'll admit it may not look as bad for S. Fl now as it did a few days ago but more than likely a hit in Cent or N. Fl is likely. This storm doesn't appear it's going to turn north and hit N. Carolina. At the most it could clip N. Georgia, southern S. Carolina but that's an extreme outlier.

And another thing I know you want the 1st game of the new ACC to go on Mon but man there are bigger things than that. You can do all the -removed- you want but this storm is going to do whatever it wants to do and you or anyone else have no control over this. Just accept it and be prepared.

how about a compromise? I'm thinking around the Ga/Sc border. Not NC, or Florida. I think it may graze the coast of Florida, however I think it may turn NNW or North just east of Daytona and then hit that area.

Even if the storm misses Miami completely for the safety of all those travelling it would be best to postpone the game.

I think everyone knows your opinion? But with all the server problems...do you HAVE to make a new post EVERYTIME it jogs north? How about just adding to one of the dozen times you've said this already?

Please help out here by showing some constrant.

It looks just as bad for Florida as it did yesterday or the day before. Nothing has changed except that Frances it just closer to the coast and it's Tuesday instead of Sunday or Monday. I hate to burst your bubble but I still believe this is possiblya SE Florida event unless she starts to turn northwest soon.

Hey, Coach Fran is a good coach! He made TCU a 'power' and will turn A&M around!

btw, Colin and other 'Cane fans, you know the 'Noles are going to kick some 'Cane arse!

I've felt the same for the past 4 years, too, though..

Unfortunately, I'm thinking there's a good chance Frances forces a postponement of FSU/UM...

By the way I'm split on that FSU/Miami game. I'm an NCSU fan and graduate (as well as ACC fan obviously) and I'm really looking forward to what the ACC has to offer now in fball thanks to expansion.
