Frances #13 I take back my surrender; back right

Just of the Georgia coast in 120 hours, and poised to make landfall between Georgia and South Carolina. Right now it could shift either way--but yesterday morning I did say I was very confident...so here's to that--if I get my bubble burst oh well.

Hold firm! You're right. BTW, has anyone checked the current model runs, not yesterday's? I think some people are going to owe ncweatherwizard an apology........ 8-)

Grain of salt offered in advance, but check my earlier post...steering features that have not yet developed blah blah...

I bet some of the pros here might agree that the models have a lot of trouble when it comes to the duration of a ridge etc. since the atmoshere is so fluid. No one has been able to nail all of the algorithims required to do that. and probably never will. That also is what makes this board fun....

I am sticking with my only general prediction based on histoirical data, which is right of south florida. We will have to wait, hope, then pray on this one. My fear is a unpredictable "F" storm of Gilbert proportions making landfall.

Looking more and more like the ULL which is down around the Bahamas and not moving will have some role in steering. If it shifts a little more to the SW then South FLorida in the bullseye. Otherwise, it looks like Central FRlorida and points North. All a matter of when and where Frances meets up with it.

For constantly accusing him of -removed-........ Gee, you guys in Texas sure have nice manners. At any rate, there are several scientific and reliable models that agree with a more northward turn for Frances after she reaches the Bahamas rather than a westerly track straight into Florida. Why in the absolute heck do you label that "-removed-"?
