We are in Boca Raton and are supposed to be leaving for Philly Thursday, early afternoon flight. Does anyone know at what point near-the-coast airports like Ft. Lauderdale would cancel flights and turn people away? We plan to be there mid-morning in case drive times are long. When in general do airports close? TS warning? Hurricane watch? yoour flight will go unless the flight is cancelled because the airline doesnt want aircraft here which does happen. my wife is leaving thursday morning and i fully expect her to be able to go. weather wont be an issue thursday to stop flights.
