Seems all forecasters are being very cautious

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems every forecast I have seen they are very very cautious about predicting where she will go.......granted it is days out, but they seem scared or something...........from Florida to NC is the only thing they seem to agree on.....but even a day out they arent sure where she wil go

Publically...yes. I'm sure that a lot of us have ideas on where this system is going to go...but because of the potential for some signicant damage and impact from this storm...we are all being carefull as to nailing down a specific landfall point this far out.

Perhaps by Wednesday...we will be able to narrow things down a bit.

Mike are you thinking a southern Florida hit, then into the GOM, then a northward turn produced by the trough. Thats what I think will happen. I still think the models are under predicting the strength of the Sub Tropical ridge(what the NHC alluded to).
