Would someone let me know what Joe is thinking for the week ahead? I am on the coast of southeastern NC and am looking at everything -- watching and waiting -- which is all we can do.

He's done his best to avoid making an actual Frances forecast, while making it appear in his columns he's made a Frances forecast.
Probably too busy trying to find one molecule of oxygen in Gaston that was moving at a sustained speed of 75.0000000001 mph at landfall to actually make a Frances call.
