Definitely a wobble south of west the last 2 IR Floater frames...doubt this will be a TREND...however we have not seen a SW wobble like this as of yet indicating the ridge is having a much bigger impact than forecast...my thoughts anyway.

Let's hope it does not continue...for the island's sake

just continues to confirm how much of a westward movement is happening, very important in affecting overall forecast in 7 - 10 days.

There's also some deep reds on the western side now. Fully expect to be back up in intensity tonight.

The problem is that there have been multiple NW wobbles of equal magnitude today, but people never seem to post on them (other than me.)

Somehow, it's gained latititude overall today, despite the board insisting it's heading due West. Must be some sort of tear in the space-time continuum around Frances :-)

Spot on!!! Very true...

However, people are more interested in a SW, WSW, or W movement because this can ultimately have a larger impact on a larger population especially if it makes a turn later than forecast and moves up the coast or heads into the Gulf...this is the reason why...

AM I SPOT ON?

Its gaining latitude has been the basis for my anti-FL-hit postings. However, if it takes more SW jogs, or shows some good continuous solid W movement, I may have to eat my words quicker than I ever anticipated.
